Since an early age I have always had a passion for cooking from scratch, baking, preserving and growing fruit and vegetables in a natural sustainable way. We moved to East Cork just before the pandemic, so I had plenty of time to finesse my processes and gift my goods to my family, friends and neighbours. They loved my preserves, sweet & savoury, so much that they told me I needed to sell them. So Andreas Organic Preserves was born in 2022 and developed into Andreas Kitchen this year, expanding into jams and baked goods as well. Some of my recipes have been handed down from my mother-in-law, who collected them from her Danish mother-in-law, others have been developed by me and my faithful tasters, my family, friends and neighbours and Craft fair visitors. We are now growing our own fruit, chemical free and sustainable, literally up the road and harnessing solar energy to process them into jams & chutneys.
