Clarke's Fish Exports

The Clarke family have been in the seafood business in Ballina since 1945. Founded by Jackie Clarke, the business developed a reputation in fresh wild salmon sourced locally from the river Moy and was shipped to Dublin, Manchester and London in the early days. A smoker was added later on and a niche market for authentic oak smoked Irish Wild salmon was carved out which still is the backbone of the company today. This is complemented with a range of flavoured cold smoked farmed and Organic salmon from our smoker in Ballina. Today this business is managed by Jackie’s eldest son, John, and we export our smoked salmon to the Europe & Canada.
