My name is Tracey Toner and, after years of deliberating, I launched The Lush Larder in October 2019. I have a keen passion for cooking and growing-our-own food: The Lush Larder is quintessentially a fusion of these two passions. I make small batches of artisan Jams and Chutneys from seasonal, homegrown and locally sourced fruits and vegetables using traditional preserving methods. Everything is handprepared and cooked upon my Aga in my country kitchen at my home. Being from County Armagh, also known as The Orchard County our local EU PGI Status Bramley Apple is an essential ingredient in many of my Jams and Chutneys. I believe the freshness of homegrown and locally sourced produce, not only reduces food miles and my carbon footprint, but is also a huge attribute in making my Jams and Chutneys taste so good. From Plot to Pot is very much my mantra; I love to work within season, as our ancestors did, because each one offers me fresh and nutritious produce and enables me to offer my customers delicious, new seasonal flavour choices.
