Basalt Distillery

Basalt Distillery represents a departure from traditional craft distilling with an emphasis on the latest sustainable process, cutting edge technology and an unrivalled focus on precision. The distillery was established in 2020 by James Richardson and Martha Garbe who both have a background in chemical engineering. The dramatic basalt coastline of Northern Ireland inspired their first product, Giants Basalt Rock Gin that launched in July 2022.
